Getting to and From to Tregynon Cottages   Tregynon Cottages are set in a rural wonderful location – perched on the edge of the spectacular Gwaun Valley and in the foothills of the Preseli mountains, right in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. They are approached by a half-mile track, off a country lane. Much of the track is now concreted. The nearest public transport is several miles distant, so a car is essential.

Access to the Cottages

Foxglove Cottage is accessed from the car park by a gravelled pathway, approximately 15 meters long. You can leave the car park via three steps or a gentle ramp as best suits you. The steps, ramp and path are all laid to 40mm gravel (see picture above). Foxglove Cottage has one step up into its front door or two steps up into its back door. The entrance doors are 730mm wide. There are no grab-rails adjacent to the entrances.

Internal

Foxglove Cottage is single-story throughout although there are two shallow steps up from the living room into the twin bedroom.

Both bedrooms have their own separate en suite bathroom.  There is a grab rail above the bath in the twin room en-suite and two grab rails in the walk in shower in the double bedroom en-suite.

As might be reasonably expected, with a building dating back several hundred years, the widths of internal doorways vary – the narrowest doorway is 650mm but most are a minimum of 720mm wide.
